Frequently asked questions

What is the 3M Market Pulse score?

It is one number from 0 to 100 that shows how healthy an asset or a whole market is right now. It blends Smart Money Concepts market structure, trend, momentum, relative strength and premium or discount position. 60 and above is Strong, 30 to 59 is Neutral, and under 30 is Weak.

Which markets does it cover?

Crypto majors and altcoins, large US stocks and index ETFs, and metals: gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, metal ETFs and mining stocks. More than 70 assets are scored.

Where does the data come from?

Daily candles come from the public Kraken and Coinbase market data feeds for crypto, and from Yahoo Finance for stocks and metals. Data can be delayed or incomplete.

How often is it updated?

Scores are calculated from daily candles each time you open the page, with data cached for about 15 minutes.

Is 3M Market Pulse free?

Yes. It is a free tool from 3M Capital Holdings. There is no sign-up and portfolio data stays in your browser.

Is this financial advice?

No. The score describes what has already happened and is not a forecast. It is for information and education only. Trading can lose money.

How is it different from a normal indicator?

A single indicator shows one signal. The score combines five ingredients into one reading and shows the exact points each one contributes, so you can see why an asset scores what it does.
